Suzanne Proctor, vice president of Business Development, MedStar Health Home Care, leads the organization's hospital and community consultants who ensure patients gain access to home healthcare services and make a smooth transition from a healthcare facility to home. Proctor's responsibilities also include planning, marketing, and the development of internal and external referral source relationships to maintain current business and to cultivate new business opportunities. She works closely with MedStar Health partners from both acute and post-acute entities to support the system-wide continuum of patient care, strengthening the systems' distributed care delivery network.
Before joining the MedStar Health Home Care in 2006, Proctor worked as the director of Business Development and Market Strategy at Adventist HealthCare. Over the thirteen-year tenure at Adventist, she served in multiple roles, supporting the development of post-acute services including acute rehab, skilled nursing care, home care and other outpatient services.
Proctor holds a Bachelor of Science in communications from Shepherd University and a Master of Science in communications studies from Shippensburg University.
